| Opis: | In recent years, Tourism has been an important source of income for the country as a whole as well as the specific rural communities that possess tourist attractions. We present a description and analysis of the existing tourism supply and demand in the Costa Rican Pacific region. This work permits to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the tourism trade, and proposes a line of action and provides recommendations to contribute to resolve the identified problems or recommendations for specific areas for further research. This work uses data collected by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, the National System of Area Conservation, and other secondary sources of data. |
