| תיאור: | This article examines the figure of the artist in the visual arts based on the contributions of Howard Becker and Raymond Williams. Both authors are brought into dialogue to construct an analytical framework. The main thesis focuses on the tension between symbolic production and the conditions of insertion and sustainability. From a qualitative approach, based on teaching experience and the observation of formative processes in the Arts Administration course at the University of Costa Rica, the educational space is analyzed as a device that makes this tension visible and open to discussion. In this context, students are understood as cultural agents who negotiate, resist, and position their practices and professional trajectories within frameworks that exceed the university setting. |
