Descripción: | Within the framework of the incorporation of colloquial vocabulary in Spanish as a second language class; this article analyzes the most common strategies for teaching lexicalized metaphors. Moreover, it highlights the most successful strategies according to the visible results in the output of Spanish as second language students. This analysis is done from classroom observations made during the years 2009 and 2010, which allowed evidencing the lexical competence of the speakers and how this contributes to the creation of everyday discourse. |
