| الوصف: | Based on census data, the article analyzes the economic dynamics, the distribution and characteristics of the living quarters in 18th century Buenos Aires. More specifically, the work seeks to identify the patterns that led proprietors to rent rooms to particular persons, in their own homes as well as in other houses. Through an approach to this localized problem, the author seeks to broach a greater historical problem area, namely, the Buenos Aires sociability patterns that existed during the period under study. |
