Descripción:The purpose of the following study is to analyze the conventionality control in the Inter-American System for the Protection of Human Rights. Specifically, through an analysis of historic background, legal basis, parameter, characteristics and effects of this control. Also, it analyzes how conventionality control has been implemented on the national courts, particularly in Costa Rica and Mexico, as well as the challenges that it presents to the national judges as drivers of this instrument that has a mission to create a system for minimal protection of Human Rights.
