| Deskribapena: | This article presents a dynamic analysis of the labor market in Costa Rica for the time period 2010-2011, using quarterly data from the Continuous Employment Survey (ECE) carried out by the Costa Rican National Institute on Statistics and Censuses (INEC). By means of an analysis of labor flows, through transition matrices of the labor market,we measure the change in labor status of the population in the short term, then, using multinomial probabilistic models, we try to determine the characteristics that define the labor status of a person and the characteristics that explain the transition probability from each labor status towards another. |
