Low back pain in pregnancy: approach for the physician

Descripción:Low back pain is one of the most frequent pathologies during pregnancy. This is explained by the wide range of physical, physiological and hormonal changes that women experience when they harbor the product of conception.Due to the impact on the quality of life and economy, in recent years there has been a significant increase in research on this pathology, which allows a more precocious diagnosis and also offer pregnant women a better approach. It has been shown that preventive measures in pregnant women have a great influence, as well as the correction of posture, body support and other habits promote a more ergonomic lifestyle to the pregnant woman. However, the multiple conservative and pharmacological therapeutic measures are able to offer relief for the pregnant patient and for a positive impact on their quality of life.
