New evidence corroborates the presence of Solenidium lunatum (Oncidiinae) in Colombia

They are characterized by free, similar sepals and petals, a trilobed lip with a grooved claw, and a winged column with two ceraceous pollinia. Historically, its record within Colombian territory was uncertain, despite mentions in catalogs and a fragmented specimen (K–SPC–61118.000) lacking precise collection data.
