Descripción:This paper presents a documentary summary of the pedagogical proposal for the Critical Research of Our Culture course (second semester, 2024), developed within the framework of the Participatory Seminars at the University of Costa Rica. The course proposed a methodological route conceived as a navigation chart, a sort of navigational chart, to introduce students to theoretical and thematic content focused on the phenomenon of neoliberalism, through recreational activities, interdisciplinary approaches, and collaborative work, articulated with conventional methods. The co-participatory dynamics, integrated between Philosophy, History, Communication and Language, and Theater Appreciation, were key to fosteractive participation and a comprehensive appropriation of the content. The final products —creative short videos created by the students— demonstrate a positive impact of these strategies on the training of first-year students in the Humanities. Taken together, experience suggests that cognitive learning processes can become true formative journeys, capable of guiding critical thinking in an educational context that faces its own storms.
