Descripción:This article aims to examine the evolution of female representation in the Mexican federal legislature, considering gender quotas and parity. Through documentary research, it analyzes the different legislatures of the Chamber of Deputies to identify the legal and political advances that have enabled greater inclusion of women in decision-making spaces. The study highlights the constitutional achievements represented by gender parity and reflects affirmative actions to reduce gender gaps. Among the main findings are significant advances, as well as persistent challenges that underscore the need to continue strengthening mechanisms that ensure substantiveequality. Quotas and gender parity have become key instruments for restoring women’s political rights and promoting a more inclusive  democracy.
