| Description: | This paper about Honduran historian Medardo Mejia (1907-1981) is more an approximation than a conclusion regarding his contribution to Honduran historiography. It presents the two major changes that Medardo Mejia accomplished within historie studies of Honduras: the introduction of Marxism and the elaboration of along- range general history of Honduras in six volumes. In this regard, this work is centered in a critical manner in what could be described as "Medardo Mejia's project to produce a general history of Honduras. |
