Descrizione:Motivation is indubitably a driving force in the learning process of an L2. The intellectual concerns, the professional development and the academic need are some of the factors that contribute to the intrinsic motivation of the student. Nevertheless, there are other factors that can contribute positively to the extrinsic motivation of the learner, such as the pedagogical guidelines that the teacher implements in the classroom. Therefore, the goal of this research is to measure and analyze the cognition of the student concerning macro-level strategies and extrinsic motivation micro-level strategies (Dörnyei and Ushioda, 2013). To do this, a survey has been developed in order to analyze quantatively as well as qualitively the understandings of the student. The questionary includes twenty items and both its validity as its reliability have been mesured through statistic methods. Based on the obtained information we deduce pedagogical involvement to bring them into practice in the classroom and we can draw future research lines.
