| Beschreibung: | This is a review of Ruth Cubillo Paniagua's book: Mujeres ensayistas e intelectualidad de vanguardia en la Costa Rica de la primera mitad del siglo XX. It addresses issues like her involvement in costarrican literary investigation and historiography in the book, how she presents and considers the rol of women in the intelectual fields during the first half of 20th century, hits and possible misses in this investigation, both historical and as literary criticism and, finally, the review has a look at the possible paths that the book opens for future investigations. |
