Descripción: | This article takes an interdisciplinary approach as it examines the experience of lexicon registering utilizing ethnographic field research methods. It confirms the strong relationship between language and culture in the context of this significant activity in Costa Rican history. The glossary features the jargon, that is to say, the voices of ox drivers or artisans. At the same time, it reveals a dialect variation manifest in the diverse terms used in the country's different geographical zones. |
