Описание:The article deals with multicultural contributions of Alonso de la Veracruz. The text analyzes the subject of the natural law of the work Speculum Coniugiorum arguing that Alonso re interpreted the principle of natural law of Thomas Aquinas in the light of the work Topics of Aristotle to prove that the starting point of moral action are traditions of the peoples and the counsel of the wisest, and reputed opening with it the possibility of incorporating indigenous to European standards world. Thus, the author of the text proves that Alonso was able to account for legitimate marriages between Indians before the arrival of Christianity. The text continues with the implications that this argument of Alonso had in political life analyzing another work of the author, De dominio infidelium et iusto bello.
