实物特征:When it comes to studying and treating diseases characterized by bodily pain such as fibromyalgia, these are generally relegated exclusively to the medical profession. Understanding the discomfort that goes through the body only from the physiological perspective, ignores a whole human dimension that is present in the body ailments. The pain is more like an existential experience, it is not the body but the entire being that suffers; and being able to put words on these experiences allows us to be able to work on all the unconscious, social, cultural and individual significations that are also included in the afflictions of the organism. Through a case study of a woman diagnosed with fibromyalgia, it is possible to exemplify how being able to talk about pain allows an expansion of the concept of cure that is commonly understood in conditions such as fibromyalgia.
