Descripció:The general objective of this article is to compare the Costa Rican negotiation processes to obtain good entering terms for agricultural products in the tLCs signed with Canada and the United States of America so as to contribute in the comprehension of the process as such. the article develops a qualitative type of investigation through which it is possible to identify the principal characteristics of the Canadian, Costa Rican, United States’ and international agricultural contexts. one of the most principal conclusions is that the four studied contexts present different elements that show big differences among them, this implying more complexity in the establishment of commercial links, particularly between underdeveloped and developed countries.
