Descripción: | This essay intends to show the importance of the contribution that the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have provided to the services of the Information Units and how it has been necessary to innovate in order to give the user a service according to their needs. It is aimed at teachers and students of library science, curriculum designers and people interested in implementing a curriculum with a focus on library skills. This work focuses on the role of teachers in a curriculum by competencies, as well as the descriptions of the skills that the librarian has to acquire in accordance with the use and management of ICT services in libraries. Some of the referral services that can be performed on virtually by the information units using ICT are presented. Also, a description of the skills that students must achieve to implement these services is given. To exemplify some of these services hyperlinks to the pages of library or services mentioned are presented. |
