| Beskrivelse: | Ten new species of liverworts are added to the bryoflora of Parque Nacional Volcán Poás, Costa Rica, one is excluded and the nomenclature of a previously reported species is corrected. Of the 120 species of bryophytes reported from Poás Volcano, 5.8% are known solely from Costa Rica, 9.2% are of cosmopolitan distribution. 67.5% show floristic affinities with the continental floras of South America, 1.6% with those of North America, and 15.8% have ranges that include continental or island stations in the Old World. |
