Descripción:The objective of the study was to obtain indicators of violence and school practices of discrimination and normalization in university students. These indicators support the creation of a psychometric instrument designed to inform decision-making in the prevention and intervention of school violence. This quantitative study follows an instrumental design with two phases: exploration of indicators and validation of construction. Participants were selected through a non-probabilistic purposive sampling. In the first phase, thirty students from citizenship and values training courses participated. In the second phase, 502 high school and college students from a public university were selected. The first phase aimed to explore indicators of practices and dispositions related to discrimination and normalization of violence using an opinion questionnaire. The ten most representative responses in each category were used to design an instrument. Furthermore, in the second phase, evidence of the instrument's validity and reliability was obtained through exploratory factor analysis with varimax rotation of principal components and Cronbach's alpha. The results showed a cumulative variance of 50.695%, explained by four factors: 1. school practices of harassment and violence (five indicators); 2. school practices of tolerance of violence (four items); 3. personal dispositions to gender discrimination (four items); 4. personal practices of normalization of violence (three items). The internal consistency analysis reported a Cronbach's alpha .807. The instrument demonstrated construct validity and reliability/accuracy. The factorial structure aligns with indicators of anti-values that are configured as anti-culture practices.
