Description:This article explores the reality of migrant women in Central America. Likewise, it analyses the manifestations of gender based violence from which women are victims and their causes. Based on the presented information, the article looks forward to possible solutions that limit the cases of systemic violence against women during their migration process, in a regional and national level. Therefore, an special emphasis will be given to the design of public policies on this topic. Lastly, the conclusions obtained from the investigation will be presented.
