Descripción:This essay reviews criticism against bureaucracy, which is perceived as administration that hampers organizational work, being mechanical, unnecessar y and depersonalized, yet also, for imposing against action, liberty, and job performance. Still, the assigned faculties are in contrast with its functionality, rationality, and subordination to guidelines and organizational regulations. Limits imposed by the power of the State are interpreted as bureaucracy, even when shaped by public policy and its vicissitudes. State reform has kind of imposed the approach on New PublicAdministration which imitates private and profit management in the administration of the State.
