Descripción:This essay, which has a scientific nature, analyzes the possibilities and work conditions available in Primary Education with the objective of recognizing bottlenecks and uncertainties characteristic of capitalist development models and their impact on the structure and function of labor markets, subject to distorted productivity criteria and labor market performance. This requires comparing the high rates of unemployment and underemployment in Primary Education, low average salaries with respect to other areas of Education, saturated work spaces with incompatible professional profiles, degree of satisfaction of educational experts based on data obtained from the National Council of Rectors (CONARE) Labor Market Observatory (OLaP) and the country´s Quarterly Employment Survey. The study examines pay gaps, job duties required for available jobs, vocational and professional profile. Disparities were revealed in Primary School Teacher Training at universities and actual job requirements and skillsets, as molded by the labor market, therefore, establishing socio-labor and educational uncertainties related to career adaptability juxtaposed with the skills required new jobs, reflecting a need for current vocational and labor adjustments.
