Descripción:Since education is a process that always depends on the context in order to which educational process is organized, it is useful to bear in mind the description by philosopher and sociologist G. Lipovetsky. This paper raises the question about how education should be in the postmodern climate we live in. What is underway is not a world cultural unification, but multiple versions of a globalised culture, which is based on capitalism and techno-science, individualism and consumerism. In the paper it is hold the hypothesis that educators (parents, teachers, society) must prepare for big changes. Students have scattered attention and are full of panache skepticism towards knowledge. Young people vegetate without much motivation or interest. Lipovetsky makes the assumption that we should seek help-tools in order to generate people who are no longer satisfied with consumption, with unruly mechanics of financial flows.
