A 14-year-old male with no pathological history presenting secondary nephrotic syndrome due to collapsing glomerulopathy.

Diğer Bilgiler:We present the case of a 14-year-old patient without known diseases, who was admitted to the hospital because a 2-week history of lower limb edema. Nephrotic syndrome was documented. The clinical course of the patient evolved to septic shock, hemodynamic deterioration and subsequently death. The autopsy documented the presence of generalized sickle cell crisis with microvascular thrombosis and sickle cell nephropathy (collapsing glomerulopathy).
