Descripción:The essay shows the development of the Fascist foreign policy and its progressive approach to the Third Reich between 1932 and 1936. In particular, the historical investigation is focused on the diplomatic equidistance created by Mussolini from Great Britain and France on one side and Nazi Germany on the other one, starting from the strategic line of the “decisive weight”, carried out during the administration of the Italian Foreign Office of Dino Grandi. Thanks to the reference of official diplomatic sources and the most relevant historiography of this theme, it is realized an incisive reconstruction and an incisive reflection of the events that brought Italy to the “unconditional friendship” with Adolf Hitler’s Germany.
