Descripción:The article aims to situate the reader in the theme of parliaments and treaties present in the Mapuche tradition and the significance of these. In the firstplace, the importance that the celebration of parliaments has had in the Mapuche tradition is described, a historical analysis is carried out on the meaning of the Koyang. Subsequently, the situation of the parliaments with the Spanish Crown is analyzed, along with this, the construction of the border space and the new relations that emerged from it are analyzed. Subsequently, an analysis is made of  the parliaments celebrated with the State of Chile, analyzing their considerations and legal obligations. Finally, the International Law is analyzed, specifically in reference to the reference made by the UN and its expert mechanism, trying to emphasize the importance of said Treaty at present.
