Descripción:Freemasonry is one of the recurring themes in the current mass culture, due to the halo of mystery and legend that has -traditionally- surrounded this entity. For this reason, this essay analyzes the treatment that the industry, has developed on the Brotherhood, and for this purpose, a television series; The Simpson has been selected. This production humorously portrays different behaviors of American society, among them, its sociability. In one of the chapters of this caricature, the protagonist Homer joins a Masonic group. Thus, the present investigation will analyze the message that this specific audiovisual product broadcasts on Masonic Lodges.
