Descripción:The objective of this study is to establish the capacity of the cane and paper industry waste in order to obtain a source of auxiliary cellulose to the primary source, that is  currently wood. It was shown that the paper made with the cellulose obtained from the African rachis and the cane bagasse has an equal tension force. The process to obtain cellulose was made by the treatment of lignine with nitric acid and ethanol and the treatment for the hemicellulose was made with sodium hydroxide.
