Descripción:One of the mayor causes of contamination is the constant generation of waste, which impacts the population health and welfare. In the pharmaceutical industry, given the nature of waste, a treatment and disposal according to each drug characteristics is required. An important part of them came from homes and hospitals, expired or are considered unusable. Some studies show how the improper disposal of waste represents significant risks for the human beings and the environment. Because of this, it is intended to explain the problem of an inadequate manipulation of unusable drugs and the actions to follow for its correct treatment. The idea is to use the most secure, simple, practical and standardized alternative to the Public Health welfare.
