Descripción:We present the investigation of a previously unpublished area, with archaeological evidence in Carmona (Andalusia, Spain) in which a series of structures identified as pyramids have appeared in a casual way. Our archaeological study has been based on determining the general objectives to confirm the technical data obtained from the whole set, and specific objectives to focus on the analysis of the pyramid that is in the best state of conservation. In the same way, we have carried out a documentary, planimetric and photographic search, as well as an archaeological study, in which we have been able to determine the chronology and functionality for the whole area, thanks to the parallels not only in the Mediterranean area, but also in different regions of the planet, such as the pyramids of Central America or Egypt, among many others. The purpose of all this is to inform the competent authorities in order to preserve them and protect them from possible plunder.
