Descripció:This study reflects on developing skills and abilities in primary and secondary education students with the goal of teaching them to become future leaders. An inductive theoretical framework was first elaborated that involved a general description of qualities or characteristics associated and required skills associated with leadership. Didactic strategies and teaching techniques are described to develop complex, analytical, critical thinking and reflective learning capabilities in future leaders. Lastly, a case study was presented based on a sample class that used Gestalt psychology fundamentals to help develop social and emotional skills. It was concluded that leadership development must begin in primary school, initiating with the development of social skills, emotional intelligence as well intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence, considered to be qualities that a good leader must be harness and master.
