Descripció:People experiencing homelessness have historically been a left-behind population in scientific research, particularly in the area of psychological studies. Furthermore, a research bias has been observed in mental health topics, as this population is often addressed from categorizing notions of health, illness, and substance use. From a developmental perspective, Masten emphasizes that systems influencing personal development, such as attachment, spirituality, self-efficacy, and community systems, play a crucial role in resilience. The present study explores the interrelationship between resilience, the attachment system, and identity construction in homelessness associated with the Dormitorio Solidario organization. A qualitative approach was used, employing semi-structured interviews to understand the life experiences of these individuals, their attachment relationships, and the ways they construct their identity in an adverse social environment. The results revealed that the homeless individuals who attended Dormitorio Solidario present a variety of traumatic and adverse experiences, which have negatively impacted their attachment system and identity construction. However, factors contributing to resilience development were also identified, such as social support, meaningful relationships, and spirituality.
