| Diğer Bilgiler: | This paper is inscribed within the framework of the discussions regarding the importance of the study of language and humanities in education. It is intended to demonstrate the validity of the teaching method proposed, from the standpoint of poetry, by Venezuelan poet Rafael Cadenas in his book En torno al lenguaje (1984), after reviewing its links with past proposals, specially with several of the central hypotheses of Don Andrés Bello, and having positioned us regarding current issues. This research works from the premise, consistent with the proposals of the above-mentioned authors, that it is through education that the basis of a society and culture are built, and that the study of language is the essential basis of all other studies. |
