Description:Teaching of Roman Law could be improved by Roman culture. It is possible to study of Roman Law through Roman literature. Many archaic comedies, for example, those written by Terence and Plautus, show us how Romans applied their legal institutions. Auctions, credits, and marriage engagements are some of legal practices depicted in their plays. Thus, students could improve their understanding and knowledge of Rome through literature.
