Descripción:The objective is to analyze the social representations (SR) of a group of Costa Rican lesbian women towards aging, based on a naturalistic paradigm, qualitative and phenomenological approach through individual interviews and a devolution to 6 lesbian women of three different age groups. Under the saturation criterion, the stories and perspectives concerning sexuality and aging were recovered. The findings highlight the different concepts and beliefs they hold about being a woman, being a lesbian, aging and old age. In addition, from the account of their experiences regarding sexuality and aging. It is concluded that sexuality, related to SRs linked to the heterosexist and patriarchal social reality, influences the aging and old age of lesbian women.
