Descripción:The development of educational research has been increasingly focused on promoting participation and interactions among various agents within school communities. In this context, the Learning Communities project has demonstrated effectiveness in transforming the socially unequal positions between teachers and students, as well as between teachers and families. This article aims to analyze the main characteristics of the relationships between teachers and students in two primary schools in the Coquimbo Region of Chile, which are implementing the Learning Communities project. Based on a qualitative multiple-case study, the research employed communicative methodology, using data collection techniques such as communicative daily life stories and communicative discussion groups with students, teachers, and parents from the schools. The results indicate that in both schools, relationships are formed based on a concern for the learning and well-being of the students, as well as the development of closeness, dialogue, and mutual respect. This approach enables students to feel confident, fostering a secure environment where they can express themselves and share their thoughts with teachers. The study concludes that the Learning Communities project has contributed to the creation of egalitarian dialogue between students and teachers in the daily interactions within the schools. Based on these findings, it is recommended to promote educational relationships founded on egalitarian dialogue, as such relationships have been shown to enhance learning and encourage student expression in the school setting.
