Descrizione:Based on the novel Là-bas (1891) written by French author Joris Karl Huysmans and translated into Spanish as Down there, this article rests on a specific example of the satanic according to the parameters of the decadence movement. The analysis of this work aims to see the conflict areas, displacements, and intersections of satanism with other fields, whether with the orthodoxy of Christianity and science, or with the heterodoxy, through magic and occultism.
