Descripción:The objective of the study presented was to determine the influence of the addition of calcined potato peel on the physical and mechanical properties of hot asphalt mixes - Huánuco, 2023. Regarding the methodology, a quantitative, applied and experimental design, using observation and the record sheet in a sample of 45 briquettes with additions of 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% of calcined potato peel compared to a standard sample containing 2% hydrated lime, evaluating as properties void content, flow resistance and stability. The results show that the best air content was achieved with 2% addition with a value of 3.3% and with that addition the best flow resistance was also achieved with 3.4 mm; However, the highest stability was obtained with 4% addition, the value being 1,272.3 kg. It is concluded that with an addition of 2% the best physical and mechanical properties of the asphalt mixtures are achieved; However, no significant variations were evident in the ANOVA test for flow resistance and stability (p > 0.05).
