Descripció:Throughout history, and due to different reasons, there have been different types of judges. There were "originalist" judges, for whom Law is synonymous with law. Those "vanguardistas" also abounded, who had the exhausting job of judging absolutely everything. And there were also (and are) present the "conciliators", who incorporate the values of a liberal and democratic stateto the legal norm. What kind of judge do we want? What kind of judge do we need? Using comparisons, examples and parallels between different types of judges and gods andGreek demigods (Zeus, Heracles and Hermes) and Romans (Jupiter, Hercules and Mercury), this article makes a brief reflection on the types of judges and poses a solution to the problem. And the answer is crucial, since the dose of commitment of the judges with the Rule of Law will depend on the type of role assigned to them.
