Descripción:The diagnostic of the risky newborn families needs, was initially done, after leaving the hospital; this is an important resource to improve the life quality of these children and decrease the organic, psychologic and emotional consequences and to avoid the family problems that come from the risky newborn situations. The methodology used was a socialized-type proyect, for characterization of the people using descriptive instruments. A comparison of diferent theories was made with the results of the research. We found that the subjects have important risk situations and social vulnerability, related directly with child's mother's age, and resource of economic ingress and situation of the risky newborn.
