實物特徵:The present article describes the main actions of the Costa Rican State in the Northern Region during the period from 1882 to 1977. Additionally, it analyzes the impact it had on the organization of the territory and the Maleku indigenous population. Through the documentary analysis of sources from various archives, media outlets, and official statistics, it is demonstrated that the presence of the State was delayed at least until the 1950s, with an increase in actions for the second half of the 20th century.
