| Beschreibung: | This study explains the socio-historical conditions that led to the emergence of anti-terrorism laws in Central America during the period 2001–2015, as a consequence of the medium-term implementation of the U.S. strategy of the New World Order of the 1990s and its subsequent updating through the Global Preventive War on Terror launched in 2002. From a strategic-relational and multi-scalar perspective, the study examines the various actions implemented by the U.S. government and the national oligarchies of the region. It also conducts a comparative analysis of the anti-terrorism laws of Central American countries and their main contents, highlighting their relationship with U.S. anti-terrorism policies. |
