Descripción:The study of the history of America will illustrate our conscience and illuminate our thought, because history contributes to elevate our culture and values. In her we find an inexhaustible source of the spirit of sacrifice, fight, and combat. The main objective of this paper is to elaborate a biographical sketch of the personalities of the process of Mexican independence that contributed to the Cuban plans of independence from 1820 through 1830. In this time of historical recount and movements throughout America it is vital to scrutinizeits history in orderto discover in her the values that identify us. Starting from recognizing the meritorious work deployed by men and women,although contradictory in occasions, contributed not only to the independence of their own country but to the development of Latin American geography.
