Descripción: | An electromagnetic model for the determination of the photon absorption speed was developed based on the electrical and magnetic characteristics of the medium (Ramos & Velásquez, 2017), considering phase factors and attenuation of the suspension to be treated. The model is presented as a new alternative for photocatalytic processes and with a view to scalability of the process from the laboratory to the industry. For this purpose, the permittivity, permeability and conductivity of the suspension were experimentally evaluated. The six fluxs model was used to simulate photon absorption. Approximations were made in relation to the conductivity of the participating medium, in order to obtain models that allow establishing the scaling of the process at an industrial level. |
