It describes and explains the scenario of the conflict of street vendors since the late nineties and early twenty-first century with the impulses of the Municipality of San José and other public and private agencies to generate a new city image in the canton centralSan José. This image tries to project San José as a “competitive city” for a high middle class who can invest and acquire a house in a housing tower. |
