Περιγραφή:The article explores how relations among families and social policy have transformed in the reproduction of the capitalist society, featuring the main configurations of such relation during a neoliberal period in the Costa Rican scene. First topic addressed is the theoretical-methodological foundation that allows for the understanding of the origins, relations and functions of families in the reproduction of the capitalist society, scheme that leads the data collection, analysis and narrative exposition in this document. Then, the 1970 crisis is considered as the turning point to get close to the contemporary transformation of the relation among families and social policy before the new reproduction ways of the capital derived from the crisis mentioned. With that contextual quadrant exposed, the configurations of relations among families and social policy in the Costa Rican scene are defined for the period mentioned, revealing the implications of this process for the society, but specially for women, girls and boys who live in the national territory.
