Description:Education is not only the fundamental pillar of the development of a society, but also a fundamental right that must be respected and guaranteed by the States in order to reduce literacy rates and progressively achieve social development.In view of the foregoing, the doctrine and jurisprudence have considerably developed the right to education, in virtue of which a series of precepts have been erected. Thus, the present work will focus mainly on the educational principles of "adaptability" and "availability" that educational programs must have, in order to analyze and demonstrate the viability of distance education systems within the framework of international law requirements to education.
