Descripción: | This article aims at providing an updated overview of the problem generated by broken families, and their impact on crime rates. For this, I have tried to develop an identification scheme for each of these elements, focusing on problem statement and concluding with some recommendations that could mitigate the excessive increase in violence levels, including some reflections on legislative efforts in that endeavor, and public policies against social violence, and its nature. This article has a very characteristic feature. It presents the contrasts of two main themes with regard to a latent social situation, based on some documents consulted on marginal-urban areas that become, day after day, a risk factor for our entire society. |
