| Disgrifiad: | This article analyzes different contemporary models implemented in Costa Rica. The main objective of those models has been to generate an outwards development; that is, a development based on a strong encourage to exports and the searching of new markets. All these actions have been applied by different administrations, thus turning them into a process of commercial aperture which has been formally shaped and depicted on different free trade agreements with countries and regions, as a way of enlarging markets to accelerate the overall economic development of the country |
